Dr. Abraham Katz opened his first office in Washington DC in 1978 with the goal of providing state of the art dentistry in a calm and soothing atmosphere. That goal is still what motivates Dr. Katz to take the time to listen, educate and answer your questions about your customize dental treatment at his dental center.
A 1972 Graduate of Howard university Dental school, Dr. Katz entered service as a Captain in the Army dental corp and served at Fort Knox Kentucky for two years. Following His military service Dr. Katz, spent two years as a resident in Anesthesiology at the Washington Hospital center and used his education there to provide dentistry for those Individuals who needed additional anesthesia modalities to make their dental experience more relaxing.
Dr. Katz is a firm believer in continuing education and is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He also is a graduate of Dental Implant Continuum of Dr. Arum Garg in South Beach Florida.
Dr. Katz also has taken over 100 hours in continuing education in the field of dental sleep medicine and provides sufferers of obstructive sleep apnea like himself with alternatives to CPAP therapy. You can hear his advertisements on WMAL radio.
Today, Dr. Katz still seeks to broaden his dental education so he can provide you with the latest innovations in the science and art of dentistry. Dr. Katz is also involved in providing orthodontic services including Invisalign, Six month Smile and the Power Prox six month braces for you benefit.
